I met Claire through the moms’ group at our church and can honestly say her friendship has been one of the biggest blessings to come from those bi-weekly meet-ups. Not only is she extremely thoughtful and the greatest resource for all things parenting-related, but our kiddos are close in age. Claire’s daughter, Zoe, was Luca’s first real friend, and she’s as adorable and intelligent as they come.
Seriously, how picture perfect is their family?
This San Jose park setting is a personal favorite for photographing families with small children because there are tons of animals and birds to keep the kiddos excited and occupied. Zoe loved running into the flock of geese (with mama right beside her) and was mesmerized by all the ducks on the water.
When Zoe needed a little break from the camera, I snapped a few photos of Claire and Zach alone. Of course, it only took a few seconds for Zoe to photobomb us, which easily set up one of my favorite images from the shoot. Because there’s nothing more real than sneaking a sweet moment with your partner, only to have your kiddo pop in unexpectedly :)
