So often we feel like we need a major event or milestone to make it worth booking a professional photo session. Not true! Sure, these beautiful photos capture Tiffany during a very important milestone birthday—Happy 30th, girl!—but she’s been scheduling annual friend photoshoots for years.
How cool is that? The last time I had all of my best friends together in the same photo was at my wedding more than four years ago.
Tiffany wanted our location to complement her coral gown and add serious drama to the images, so we opted for the gorgeous redwoods in Saratoga, California. Friends flew in from out of state to attend the shoot. There were snacks and desserts for the taking. Even a road closure and smoky weather couldn’t dampen the mood.
“Fun” perfectly describes the vibe of this friends photoshoot in the redwoods. Some friends reconnected after spending years in different states. Other girls met in person for the first time. Sweet baby Eli even made an appearance at one point in the afternoon.
In a world where girls are so frequently mean to and competitive with one another, I was really touched that these 10 ladies made such a big effort to support Tiffany. And I feel so fortunate that I was able to capture it all.
